The process includes:
- Assessing the structure and reporting lines, and competencies to identify opportunities for improvement
- Evaluating processes and practices against the AM Framework to identify opportunities for improvement
- Analysing production, downtime, and maintenance cost data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Observing general condition of physical assets and facilities
- Facilitating process to create a shared vision of the future; capture, clarify, organise and risk assess all opportunities for improvement
The evaluation delivers value by:
- Evaluation and Assurance – identifying and closing the site’s gaps to standards and best practices with the aim of accelerate improvements;
- Educating – by raising awareness of leading practices and professional development of participants; and,
- Teamwork – by fostering teamwork and a desire to improve business performance
